Muhammad Alhaji Yakubu says the APC rally in Kaduna showed strong backing for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The Arewa Think Tank convener believes the large crowd made one thing clear. Many of the president's fans in the North are keen to help him win another term.

In his statement, Yakubu gave credit to Kaduna Governor Senator Uba Sani for helping the campaign launch run well. Abdulaziz Yari, the APC campaign chief, also earned praise for his role in planning the event. Both men, he felt, had done a solid job.

And it was not just the big names that got his praise. Yakubu thanked other northern governors, local party leaders, youth groups, and women's groups for showing up. He sees their role as proof that civic action needs people at all levels, not just those in high office.

Still, the crowd was only part of his message. He wants political groups to keep working with each other and to avoid acts that could harm the peace. Respect, open talks, and calm debate all matter, he said.

Another point was the need to put public welfare first. Yakubu wants leaders to talk about the real needs of Nigerians rather than focus only on votes. He believes better ties across the nation can help build trust and keep its democracy strong.

As for the host city, he thanked its people and state officials for their warm welcome. His hope is that the same spirit of teamwork will carry on as Nigeria heads toward another national vote.
