New Jersey band Yawn Mower shared another song from their upcoming album called I Just Can't Wait To Die. The group already released their first single Rascal which had some attitude to it. Their newest track Geothermal Springs sounds much more cheerful and energetic. The album comes out August 15 through Mint 4000 records.

Mike Chick from the band explained how the song came together after his bandmate Biff's girlfriend visited Iceland for photography work. He wrote lyrics about wishing he could join her at the waterfalls there since foss means waterfall in Icelandic. The rest of the song talks about everyday activities like ordering Chinese takeout and taking family members to arcades and shopping centers. He also mentions gardening and other simple pleasures from the day he worked on the words.

The music still shows influence from bands like Weezer just like their previous single did. The loud and happy sound also brings to mind the energy of Canadian punk band Pup. Listeners should expect some ska music elements mixed into the track as well. The combination creates an upbeat anthem that matches the wholesome themes in the lyrics.
