Police in Zamfara rescued six kidnapped people during a security operation. A police team patrolled with Community Protection Guards near the Anka-Gummin road when they found an abandoned car. The officers suspected someone had taken the passengers against their will. They started looking right away for missing people. Their search worked, as they found all six victims safe.
The police spokesperson, DSP Yazid Abubakar, named the rescued individuals. The freed captives included Bakiru Muhammad Masama, Alyh DanTani Masama, Aminu Aliyu Bukkuyum, Ahmad Muhammad Masama, Umar Sa'idu Ruwan Jema, and Shehu Mulluwa. These six people went back home to their families after the rescue. The statement confirmed that everyone made it through the ordeal safely.
