The Zim Community Trailblazers Awards (ZCTA) Hall of Fame is getting an upgrade. It will become a place for the community to come together, share knowledge, and generate new ideas.
The new ZCTA Hall of Fame will open on January 31, 2025, at the fancy Harare International Conference Centre. The theme is "Promoting a Legacy of Excellence in the Community." To start, the Hall of Fame will honor 15 amazing trailblazers who have done great things in their fields.
The Hall of Fame celebrates people and groups who make a big difference. It will start a mentorship program. There will be community projects. People can share what they know. And there will be training to help people do more.
Albert Masaka is one of the ZCTA organizers. "We are so excited to start these new programs," he said. They will take the Hall of Fame to new heights. We want to make a community that celebrates the best, a place where people work together, a place that makes good changes. Together, we can do awesome things. We can have a lasting impact."
Mr. Masaka said top Hall of Famers will mentor young leaders. They will give advice and support. The community will come together to solve problems. They will think of new answers. Past winners like Dr. Nigel Chanakira and Dr. Johaness Marisa have shown them how to help.
There will be a digital archive and a book that tells the stories of the Hall of Famers. People can learn from them. Talks and online classes will also help people gain new skills.
Training will focus on being a good leader. People will learn how to start a business and how to improve their community. Studies will show how the Hall of Famers have helped.
Mr. Masaka is sure the programs will improve the Hall of Fame and help the community in many ways. The ZCTA Hall of Fame will be an exciting place—a place that honors the best brings people together and improves life.
