China has funded major Zimbabwe projects like the Manhize steel plant, mining operations, and power stations. Over 472 Chinese companies received investment licenses for Zimbabwe operations. The partnership also produced Zimbabwe's new Parliament building through a Chinese grant. Senior government officials attended yesterday's meeting with the Chinese delegation.
