War vet Blessed Geza, thrown out of the Zanu PF committee, wants people to protest today against President Mnangagwa. He announced the signal came when cars burned near places banker Mangudya, businessman Tagwirei, and money man Chivayo. Geza says these three guys stick close to the President like a gang. They face blame for many problems. Police have been everywhere in crowded neighborhoods since Friday, proving they expect trouble brewing despite officials claiming everything runs fine. Police chiefs sent many messages this weekend, hoping to keep people calm. Minister Kazembe promised security forces would support the law and would slam down hard if things turned ugly. The protests started because Zanu PF members fought among themselves. Some want Mnangagwa to stay president two years longer than allowed, past 2028. Mnangagwa himself promised citizens he plans to leave when his legal time ends. Many party members hate this idea and believe fresh leaders should step up, similar to runners passing batons during races. Similar fights broke out in 2017 when money became scarce for everyday people. The same thing happens right here, right today, despite big promises about better times after last year's drought. Small shops face crushing taxes, fewer sales, street competition, and crazy interest rates. Banks keep rates at 35% yearly, which hurts businesses badly. Just like in 2017, these protests erupted as the theft of public funds increased, according to Transparency International. Their February report gave Zimbabwe only 21 points out of 100, worse than last year's 24. This shows that government deals became less honest. Zimbabwe falls below other African nations at 33 and way under the world score of 43. Zimbabwe has never scored higher than 24 since 2016. People march because empty wallets hurt them, public stealing grows worse, and rumors spread about tribal favorites. During calm times, this might look like simple party drama. But with cash problems, rising theft of public money, and wider gaps between rich and poor, everyone feels the pain. Zanu PF must clean house fast. This stops street fights and helps other countries trust Zimbabwe as a partner. Current leaders must accept the blame for anything happening during these protests.
