Zimbabwe Goes Digital Hot Wheels of Tech Hit the Streets

The government wants to bring special trucks called Digitrucks to all parts of Zimbabwe. These trucks will help people learn about computers and technology. Dr Tatenda Mavetera, who works with technology in the government, shared this exciting news.

President Mnangagwa showed everyone a new Digitruck at his house. Dr Mavetera explained that these trucks will help Zimbabwe grow and become more modern by 2030. She believes everyone in Zimbabwe needs to learn how to use computers and the internet.

The Digitruck is amazing because it runs on solar power. It has panels on top that catch the sun's energy and big batteries that keep working for three days without needing more power. Inside the truck, twenty students and their teacher can sit and learn. Each person can use their laptop computer. The truck even has a huge screen, like a big TV, that helps the teacher show students new things.

These special trucks will help people across Zimbabwe learn important skills for the future. The government wants everyone to understand how to use technology and create new ideas with computers.
