Mr. Nujoma led Namibia from 1990 until 2005. He ensured his country's freedom on March 21, 1990. The new leader of Namibia, Mr. Mbumba, said Mr. Nujoma lived a long life helping people. He said Mr. Nujoma showed everyone how to be brave and make their country better. The people of Namibia will remember him as someone who worked hard to improve their lives.
