Zimbabwe police just stopped all vacation time for its officers and called back everyone already off duty. All this happened because Blessed Geza, known as Bombshell, plans to lead protests against the government on March 31. Geza used to work with the ruling Zanu-PF party, but they kicked him out. Officers must cancel any time off requests and return to work right away. The police need all available staff ready for possible trouble. Some officers had to come back from their family trips suddenly. A police officer said they told him to report back immediately when he should have been enjoying his leave. Geza supports Vice President Constantino Chiwenga and wants President Emmerson Mnangagwa gone. His group tried to hold protests earlier but failed. They claim the country faces terrible economic problems, corruption, and leaders who never answer for their actions. War veterans even told police they planned peaceful demonstrations about these issues. The situation looks serious based on how police leaders reacted. One officer mentioned they must stay alert for anything that might happen. Police headquarters expect problems as March 31 approaches and want everyone ready. When asked about these preparations, police spokesman Paul Nyathi refused to talk, saying he traveled out of town. John Paradza, who leads youth for Zanu-PF, promised President Mnangagwa no protests would succeed. He made this claim during an event that launched a youth fund program. Many critics want Mnangagwa to step down because his supporters push to keep him as president past 2028 when his time should legally end. Information Minister Jenfan Muswere attacked Geza harshly. He called Geza's actions "grandstanding" and promised to crush any planned protests. Geza became famous after starting a campaign against extending Mnangagwa's time in office. He disappeared for a month but came back on social media on March 31, calling for street action. Geza posted a long video message wearing military clothes. He called the event "not even a protest but an uprising." He believes Zimbabweans feel angry about the corrupt leadership under Mnangagwa. Minister Muswere told people to ignore what he called "rumblings" from Geza that might cause division in the country. Police stand ready to handle anyone creating problems inside Zimbabwe. Muswere accused Geza of running from justice and falsely speaking for war veterans. He urged citizens to pay no attention to what he termed "delusional ramblings." Reports suggest Geza escaped to South Africa after making these statements. The youth branch of Zanu-PF declared total support for President Mnangagwa. At a big meeting in Harare, youth leader Paradza said his group would stop any attempts to protest. He promised the president that demonstrations would never happen as long as he held his position. He told the crowd they need not worry about things said on social media. This situation reminds people of 2017 when young party members backed then-President Mugabe during political fights but later changed sides after he lost power. Many youths at the recent event chanted slogans saying Mnangagwa should stay until 2030. Fighting inside Zanu-PF grows worse as the party heads toward its big meeting in 2027. The conflict pits Mnangagwa against Chiwenga despite Chiwenga helping Mnangagwa take power years ago. Party spokesman Christopher Mutsvangwa even got recorded criticizing Chiwenga, saying people would never elect him because he acts cruelly and lacks education. After hiding for weeks, Geza appeared again, asking for unity during the March 31 protests. In his video, Geza stated that he feels safe among supporters. He claimed President Mnangagwa knows exactly where he stays but fears confronting him directly. Some people think security forces helped Geza cross into South Africa. His strong statements against the president caused the party to throw him out for breaking rules and acting against the nation.
