HARARE, Zimbabwe—Mudiwa Hood, a prominent businessman in Zimbabwe, issued his final public statement on Mukoma Hopewell's tax situation.
Hood emphasized that tax information is strictly confidential. As a private citizen, he said he would not disclose any details.
However, Hood expressed willingness to personally guide Hopewell through some of his business ventures in the Mukoma area if Hopewell is interested. He even offered to arrange a meeting for them to see Hopewell's operations firsthand.
Hood did not provide further comment on the tax compliance allegations against Hopewell. Hopewell has also not responded to requests for comment at this time.
