ZINWA Reports Breakthrough in Kunzvi Dam Construction

The big Kunzvi Dam is being built quickly. The water people, ZINWA, say it's more than halfway done already and will be finished next year.

This dam will help many people. Farmers will get water to grow crops on 500 hectares of land—that's a lot of fields! People in towns nearby will also have water to drink and use at home.

Even the city people in Harare will get some help. The dam will give water to the neighborhoods on the east side. Harare has a lot of people and needs more water.

ZINWA is also building a place to clean the water and installing pipes to carry it to Harare. Some of the work is already done, but not all of it.

They even want to build a mini power plant. It will use the water to generate electricity for the nearby residents. That's a smart idea!

The workers are busy moving dirt and rocks and installing heavy stuff to make the dam strong. It's hard work, but they are getting it done.

They have big piles of sand and metal pieces, too. It all has to go in just the right spot. The workers have to pay attention and do it right.
