A kind group called Zoe Empowers Malawi has given special tools worth 95 million Kwacha to 131 children who need extra help in Dowa. These children learned new skills to help them work and earn money. The group has also shared 72.4 million Kwacha with 324 young people to start their small businesses.

Mr. Maclein Harawa, who leads the group in Malawi, handed out these tools on Friday at their office in Mponela-Dowa. He believes teaching young people how to run businesses helps them take care of themselves. These skills make it possible for them to pay for school, buy food, and live better lives.

Since 2017, Zoe Empowers has helped 20,000 young people in Malawi learn different jobs. They teach things like sewing clothes, cutting hair, fixing bikes, and making furniture. Nice people from America give money to make this happen.

Ivy Chanza, one of the happy children who received help, lives near Chief Mkukula. She finished school in 2018 but had no way to make money. She learned how to make clothes, and the group gave her a sewing machine. She feels excited because she can make money to help her family.

Another young person, Chifuniro Magombo, thanks Zoe Empowers for teaching him useful skills. He thinks these new skills will help him make his dreams come true. The group gives out many different tools, such as sewing machines, hair-cutting tools, and tools for fixing cars and bikes.
