West Ham dismissed Graham Potter from his managerial position Saturday following a disappointing nine-month tenure. The Premier League club currently sits in 19th place after managing just three points from five matches this season. Potter assumed control at London Stadium in January when the team held 14th position, which became their final league standing.
The 50-year-old manager signed a two-and-a-half-year contract after West Ham removed Julen Lopetegui, who had replaced longtime manager David Moyes. Several coaching staff members departed alongside Potter, with the club stating that performances failed to meet board expectations. West Ham faces Everton on Monday while officials begin their search for Potter's replacement.
