Samsung Electronics obtained a massive $16.5 billion contract for manufacturing 2nm Gate-All-Around semiconductor chips. The agreement spans from July 24 through December 31, 2033, representing 7.6 percent of the company's total revenue. This deal provides Samsung substantial financial stability as it works to enhance production yields for the advanced node technology. The Korean manufacturer previously struggled with poor yields that drove customers toward competitor TSMC.
