Ghana and Serbia forged partnerships across trade, labor, military affairs, education, technology, and climate initiatives during recent diplomatic talks. Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa announced that Serbia plans to distribute 100,000 work permits this year due to demographic challenges. The European nation has already awarded 51 scholarships to Ghanaian students and will provide an additional 30 educational opportunities.
