Nintendo has selected its lead actors for the upcoming live-action adaptation of The Legend of Zelda franchise. Bo Bragason, age 21, will portray Princess Zelda while 16-year-old Benjamin Evan Ainsworth takes on the role of Link. Company president Shigeru Miyamoto made the casting announcement through an official statement expressing his anticipation for seeing both performers on screen. The film initially faced a scheduling change when Nintendo moved the release from March 26, 2027 to May 7, 2027. Both actors represent relatively new talent with limited previous credits on their respective filmographies.
