Honda faces a significant safety concern with its 2024 NC750X motorcycles. The company discovered that 112 bikes have dangerous tire problems that could lead to crashes. These motorcycles were produced between February and August last year. The trouble comes from faulty tires made by Sumitomo, a Japanese supplier. The tire maker changed its tire-building process in early 2024, which weakened the internal structure.
The defective tires can fall apart from the inside, making them unsafe to ride. Honda acted quickly when it discovered the problem.
