Tesla shocked car industry experts after beating their worst predictions for summer sales. The electric vehicle company sold 384,122 cars during the second quarter of 2025. Wall Street analysts expected Tesla to sell 385,086 vehicles during the same period. The final numbers came within just 964 cars of expert predictions. Tesla managed to surprise everyone despite making more cars than they actually sold.
June became Tesla's strongest month during the entire quarter. The company pushed 47 percent of all quarterly sales through June alone.
