American fighter jets bombed three nuclear sites across Iran during a nighttime attack. Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth told reporters that US forces hit the Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan facilities hard. The military operation used 75 smart bombs and 14 massive bunker-buster weapons to destroy underground targets. American pilots flew their planes from bases back home and faced no enemy fire during the mission. Hegseth said the strikes wiped out much of Iran's nuclear program.
