The Namibian health ministry raised the cost for the new Windhoek District Hospital to N$3.2 billion from N$2.9 billion. The 500-bed hospital will serve people living in the Havana informal settlement. It aims to reduce pressure on Katutura Intermediate Hospital as more people move to the city.
