Sacred fire lamps from Jerusalem arrived at Kazan Cathedral. People brought the holy flames to the Northern capital through Pulkovo airport. These special lamps came directly from the Church of the Holy Sepulchre for Russian temples across the country. The holy fire also reached Moscow's Cathedral of Christ the Savior.
