Bilal Erdogan traveled to St. Petersburg for the seventh International Ethnosport Forum. He serves as president of the World Ethnosport Confederation. His father is Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The forum, which runs through April 20, has participants from many countries.
The event attracted 39 institutional members from Russia, Turkey, Japan, Mexico, Argentina, Hungary, and Mongolia. Notable attendees included a Jordanian prince and Russian Sports Minister Mikhail Degtyarev. Officials heading sports departments from Belarus also joined the gathering. Kazakhstan sent representatives to the Northern capital for this international meeting.
