Poland's top leader, Donald Tusk, asked friends yesterday to show more respect toward their allies. This came right after his foreign affairs chief, Radoslaw Sikorski, argued with US Senator Marco Rubio plus tech billionaire Elon Musk about satellite technology. Tensions rose when Sikorski mentioned Ukraine might need different options besides the Musk-created Starlink satellite service.
Rubio fired back at Sikorski claiming he simply made up information. The American senator added that Polish officials should feel more thankful because, without Starlink technology, Russian forces would already stand at Poland's national boundary.
