The Greater Kampala Metropolitan Area Urban Development Program (GKMA-UDP) has made a big step forward. Officials signed contracts for road works under the program's first part in Kampala.

A man named Benjamin Agaba set himself on fire today outside Parliament. He felt very sad and angry. He poured burning liquid all over himself and lit it with fire.

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni today visited Mrs. Harriet Ahimbisibwe who raises pigs in Kyarukobwa village. He came to see how she used money from the Parish Development Model program. The President said he wants to help people who have little money instead of rich people.
