Police used special smoke called tear gas to make some people leave the streets in a town called Kabale. These people wanted their leader, Dr. Besigye, to be set free from jail. They started walking from a hotel and carried signs asking for him to be released.
The police chief, Mr. Okello, saw them walking and brought other police officers to stop them. They caught four members of the group: Mr. Leopold, who helps make decisions for Kabale; Mr. Gideon, who teaches children; Mr. Conrad; and Mr. Godfrey.
