The First Lady of Zimbabwe Visits Elderly in Mashonaland Central.
MASHONALAND CENTRAL, Zimbabwe—First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa visited the Musiiwa Community yesterday. The people there asked her to visit to show her how they help the elderly and others in need.
The First Lady did not just watch. She got involved, too. She helped the local women plant crops, cleaned houses, did laundry and cooked, and talked with the elderly people.
Mrs. Mnangagwa says it is important to love and care for the elderly. Some feel lonely, and some are blamed for witchcraft, but the First Lady says we must help them.
