ACM Plugins Upgrade with MIDI Learn and New Controls

Applied Computer Music Technologies gave their ACM plugins a fresh update for Windows and Linux users. They fixed how these plugins work with Reaper when you want to connect MIDI controls. Version 3.3.0 lets you pick exactly how knobs respond when you click them. The company added a new settings screen where you can change these options.

The plugins come with three ways to move those round knobs on screen. The first option makes knobs jump right to where you click - then you move your mouse in circles to make small changes. When you want super precise control, just make wider circles with your mouse. Most people will enjoy the second option since it comes turned on automatically. This setting works almost the same but respects where the knob started before you clicked it.

Many musicians prefer the third choice because it feels more natural. With this setting, you simply push your mouse up to increase values or down to decrease them. The knob turns clockwise when you push up and goes the other way when you pull down. You can hold the shift key if you need to make tiny adjustments to any sound. These controls make music production faster for everyone.

The company designed these improvements based on what musicians actually need. Different people like different ways of working, which explains why they give you multiple options. You can even let your music software decide how controls should work if that program has its settings. This update shows how Applied Computer Music Technologies keeps making life easier for both casual and professional music makers.
