Anubhav Sinha finds violence, hate in Paris trip

Director Anubhav Sinha shared photographs from Paris on his Instagram account while visiting the French capital. The filmmaker behind Mulk, Thappad, and Bheed captured images near the Eiffel Tower from what appears to be the Pont Alexandre III area. Ornate streetlights and typical Parisian road signs appear prominently in his social media post. Sinha described the entire metropolis as resembling a vast museum filled with centuries of human experience. The producer reflected on Paris witnessing countless conflicts, monarchies, social upheavals, and revolutionary movements throughout its existence.

Sinha emphasized how the city simultaneously fostered remarkable artistic achievements across multiple creative disciplines. He expressed belief that peaceful endeavors and creative expression ultimately triumph over destructive forces. Paris traces its origins to the Parisii tribe during the third century BC and later flourished under Roman administration. The French Revolution began there in 1789, fundamentally altering democratic principles worldwide. The city endured Nazi occupation from 1940 to 1944 before experiencing liberation and continues attracting global artists, writers, and intellectuals.
