Arturia introduced the Pure SUB three-layer bass synth

Arturia Pure SUB is a specialized bass synthesizer plugin featuring a dedicated three-layer sound generation architecture. This tool targets electronic music producers crafting heavy 808s or distorted Reese tones. The lowest frequency tier maintains phase stability through a regeneration function. Heavy processing chains will not destroy the fundamental frequencies.

Midrange harmonics utilize either a user-defined waveform editor or a high-density unison engine. A separate pitch envelope sculpts transient impact independently from amplitude. The uppermost textural layer injects noise or sampled artifacts directly into the signal path. All three streams merge into an expansive filter section featuring over forty distinct modes.

Post-filter processing relies on a dedicated distortion matrix with randomized macro controls. A twelve-slot effects rack handles additional modulation duties. Users can assign modulation sidechains to let one source dynamically scale another. The entire package ships with 300 default presets and full MPE compatibility.

A limited-time introductory price reduces the cost to forty-nine dollars. A functional demo restricts sessions to twenty minutes while disabling file exports. The software runs natively on modern Windows and Apple Silicon environments.
