Trinidad's Andersen Peters struggled in javelin and placed seventh at 77.49 meters. Brazilian Luiz Mauricio da Silva dominated the javelin with 86.34 meters. Canadian Ethan Katzberg threw 82.73 meters to win the hammer competition.
