Bliss update brings microtuning and new Key Mapper

discoDSP just upgraded their Bliss software to version 2.9. The new release adds MTS-ESP microtuning support and includes a visual Key Mapper view.

Users can see and manage zones with the new Sample Editor grid. Musicians can directly edit key ranges, velocity settings, and root keys on a piano-roll style display. The interface allows people to drag zone boundaries and move root key markers with immediate visual feedback.

The update improves SFZ format handling with better import and export capabilities. It correctly places ADSR envelope settings in the global section for wider compatibility. Sample Editor changes make overlapping markers easier to work with and boost playback cursor performance through smarter repainting.

Interface improvements include better value displays for knobs, standardized fonts across platforms, and adjusted sizing in the Zone List Box. The company fixed AAX support issues and corrected sample playback position reporting when using pitch shifting.

Current Bliss 2.x owners can download the free upgrade for Windows, Mac, and Linux in all major plugin formats, including standalone versions.
