Police in Kawempe are looking into a very sad case. A man named James Luwaga hurt his wife, Dorah Perus Nalubega, very badly on Tuesday. This happened after they fought at home in Kazo.
The police officer, Luke Owoyesigyire, said the couple argued the night before. They made up, but the next morning, James asked Dorah to come inside their house. Then he attacked her.
Dorah called for help. A person who lived nearby heard her and ran to tell the area leader. When they came back, they saw James running away. They found Dorah on the floor with blood around her.
People in the area caught James and gave him to the police. The police talked to people who saw what happened. They also found what James used to hurt Dorah. Her body was taken to Mulago City Mortuary, where doctors will check it.
