Bounty Killer and DJ Khaled team up for Jamaica hurricane relief

Jamaican dancehall artist Bounty Killer announced a humanitarian alliance with music producer DJ Khaled following Hurricane Melissa's devastation across western Jamaica. The 53-year-old performer, whose legal name is Rodney Basil Price, shared details through social media about their joint initiative between the Bounty Foundation and We The Best Foundation. Their effort will focus on financial assistance for damaged medical facilities and educational institutions in affected regions.

Multiple Caribbean music figures have mobilized support since the storm struck last week. Artists including Ding Dong, Spice, Shenseea, Jahvy, Shaggy, and Sean Paul joined relief operations alongside Bounty Killer. The performer emphasized community resilience in his announcement while confirming specific aid distributions would commence shortly. This collaboration represents his latest contribution to recovery activities after several days of independent assistance efforts. Residents continue facing significant housing shortages throughout impacted communities.
