This groundbreaking event will soon deliver a must-hear compilation album and spectacular concert showcasing the city's extraordinary rap talent.
Fresh from the workshop's massive success, organizers have just announced the "Kwela Recording Kamp" - an intense three-day recording session kicking off Friday through Sunday. The hand-picked artists who shined during the workshop will create hard-hitting tracks inspired by the workshop's explosive "Conflict Transformation: Hip Hop vs Community" discussions.
Heavyweight local rappers have signed on for this game-changing project. The star-studded lineup features Swazy, Stones Moyo, Fuel The Don, Curtis Dee Rovar, Nsizwa Black, TBK, Farai, Ghawdzilla, Israel, CMK, Mike the Future, Salem Bhebhe, KidThrill, Philo Cliff, Canvus Ports, and Rayzon. These rap gladiators will meet at a private location to lay down tracks that capture the raw energy and insights from the workshop.

"The Kwela Recording Kamp continues our mission and gives artists a platform to express the realities and challenges within our neighborhoods."
