Pentecost Preparatory School beat all other schools at the NCCE Constitution quiz celebrating the 68th Independence Day Anniversary. The competition took place on March 10, 2025, at Kwabeng Trinity Presbyterian Church Hall. Five schools participated: Kwabeng Roman Catholic School, Anglican School, Presby School, A.M.E. Zion School, and Pentecost Preparatory School.
The NCCE named this year's contest "Ghana's Future: Our Collective Responsibility." They wanted students to join Civic Education Clubs and learn about the 1992 Constitution to become better citizens. Mrs. Mercy A. Bonnie, who serves as the Atiwa West GNAT Secretary, ran the quiz with four rounds of questions about the Constitution and current events related to Ghana's history.
When the scores came in, Pentecost Preparatory School won with 61 points. Kwabeng Anglican School came in second with 60 points, and A.M.E. Zion School took third place with 56 points. Kwabeng Roman Catholic School earned fourth place with 55 points, and Kwabeng Presby School finished fifth with 54 points.
The organizers gave exercise books, pens, and pencils to every student who competed. Fans from each school received copies of the 1992 Constitution. This helped encourage regular study of the document among young people. The champions from Pentecost Preparatory School also received a plaque and bronze medals to mark their victory.
Several important guests attended the event. Madam Benedict Eyra Dikta represented the Regional Director from the Regional Office. Madam Sandra Donkor, the Circuit Supervisor from the Education Office, watched the competition. Joseph Owusu Korantng, the Atiwa West NCCE District Director, also attended. Students from all schools cheered loudly for their classmates throughout the contest.
