Chombo slams protests that risk peace in Mashonaland West

The top leader in Mashonaland West spoke out against protest plans earlier today. Marian Chombo told reporters these demonstrations would hurt peace across the region known as Zimbabwe's food basket. She believes these actions might block economic progress plus put regular people at risk. The government wants growth instead of chaos for everyone living there.

Chombo made clear that police forces stand ready to stop anyone causing trouble. She asked all groups, including businesses and community heads, to stay away from anything that could spark fighting. Security teams plan to act fast against those who might create problems throughout the area. Their main goal remains keeping citizens safe from harm.

She encouraged regular people and shop owners to keep working like normal tomorrow. Anyone who sees somebody trying to stop business activities should call the police right away. The message focused on letting daily life continue without disruption for families across the province. Chombo stressed that regular operations help everybody move forward together.

The minister pushed hard for community leaders to reject violence completely. Her statements highlighted how peaceful streets matter for families trying to make a living. She emphasized that government officials care about protecting everyday activities from possible dangers. Law enforcement stands prepared to handle any person who attempts to create disorder.
