Mobile phone records presented during the murder trial of Constable Noel Maitland reveal multiple exchanges between numbers associated with the defendant and a truck operator following the disappearance of social media personality Donna-Lee Donaldson. A Data Forensic Analyst from the Jamaica Constabulary Force testified that telecommunications data from Digicel and Flow showed contact between devices linked to Maitland, his child's mother, Kathy-Ann Smith, and the truck driver over several days. The 24-year-old victim was last seen at Maitland's New Kingston residence.
At least ten attempts to reach the truck driver occurred from a number attributed to Maitland, with several going unanswered and conversations lasting from two seconds to twelve minutes. All incoming connections to the driver's device utilized the Upper Red Hills Road cell tower. Prosecutors have not explained the truck operator's significance to the case. Additional testimony from the Communication Forensic and Cybercrime Division is expected when proceedings resume.
