The studio tried smaller content drops instead of making a sequel but that strategy clearly bombed with the community only willing to come back for a full reset.

This marks another round of Destiny 3 rumors after previous reports got shut down by Jason Schreier who confirmed nothing was happening back then. Even if Bungie really kicked off production it could take several years before anyone sees anything, since triple-A games take forever to make.
