Dive into GTA San Andreas VR with 6DOF Mod

With a new free mod, players can experience Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Definitive Edition through virtual reality. Creator Holydh released the update on Nexus Mods, letting gamers play the entire game in first-person VR with complete motion controls. The 6DOF implementation enables aiming all ranged weapons, even during scripted passenger shooting sequences. Gamers can also use the functional Sniper Scope and Camera Screen with zoom features to complete missions requiring long-range weapons.

This VR addition makes the Definitive Edition more appealing to fans who preferred the original version. The game has improved significantly since its troubled launch in late 2021 alongside GTA 3 and Vice City remasters. Early reviews criticized the collection for poor visual upgrades, performance issues, and lack of meaningful extras when it first arrived. Critics felt the remasters failed to enhance these groundbreaking titles for modern players.

Rockstar Games might continue updating the collection to address remaining problems. The free nature of this community-created VR mod gives players more options to enjoy the classic open-world adventure. Many gamers appreciate the opportunity to revisit San Andreas with modern VR technology at no additional cost.
