Audio still comes from another instrument because AMI-Polychaos sends MIDI only. Logic Pro takes AU MIDI, while Ableton Live and other hosts use VST3. The project grew from Dr. Zoppa’s UNAM doctoral work on algorithmic composition and uses Max/RNBO with JUCE.

AMI-PLSYSTEMS and AMI-POLYMARKOV share the AMI-CMMAS line. Support starts at macOS 10.13, covering Intel and Apple Silicon with signed, notarized installers. The intro price is $29 before moving to $39, and a 30-day unrestricted trial is offered. A Windows VST3 version remains in testing.
