Dystopian Waves debuted NEUON Cepstral Morph

Dystopian Waves just dropped NEUON Cepstral Morph, a plugin that fuses two audio signals into one hybrid texture. Setup is simple. Feed a main signal in, sidechain a second one, then shape formant vibe and texture per source.

Two engines power the plugin. The Cepstral Morpher handles spectral blending with separate Formant Morph and Texture Morph knobs, with one Macro Morph dial for quick sweeps. Meanwhile, the Filterbank Vocoder goes full robot voice and handles voice and synth combos with rhythmic chaos.

Morph Frequency Range dials let users keep the lows untouched while the mids and highs get morphed. A live visualizer plots both incoming spectra and the result, and the morph range can be dragged from the display.

Modulation nerds get four independent LFOs with drawable curves and tempo sync, each assignable to any parameter. Onboard preset management handles saving and loading, and 20 factory presets ship in the box.

It costs $13.99 at launch, then $34.99 after. Windows gets 64-bit VST3, while macOS scores VST3 and AU in a Universal Binary covering Apple Silicon and Intel.
