Nigerian luxury fashion house Ejiro Amos Tafiri threw a bunch of events around Lagos to celebrate hitting 15 years in the game. The week kicked off with a fashion conference where industry heads talked about how the brand pushed African aesthetics into global markets. Over 200 people entered the young designers competition, with six finalists battling for 5 million naira to jumpstart their careers.
The brand set up an exhibition, walking people through garments and archive pieces from 2009 forward, showing how the label evolved across local and international scenes. The whole thing wrapped with a runway show dropping 110 fresh pieces in front of more than a thousand guests.
