Ghana Goes Gaga Over Namibias 35 Years of Freedom

Ghana's Interior Minister Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak praised Namibia as the African nation marked 35 years of independence. The Namibian High Commission hosted the special event that brought together government leaders, diplomats, traditional chiefs, and Namibians living across Ghana. Mohammed-Mubarak spoke at Wednesday's ceremony held throughout Accra. He praised Namibia for staying committed to democracy, peace, and keeping things stable. The minister said Ghana and Namibia share a strong friendship built from their fights for freedom and helping each other out.

Mohammed-Mubarak stressed that African countries must stick together and support people around the world who want justice, peace, and respect. Both nations promised to work closer together on schools, hospitals, business deals, travel, safety, and power projects. The celebration reminded everyone about the importance of African unity, freedom, and growth that lasts. The minister and outgoing Namibian High Commissioner Selma Ashipala-Musavyi both expressed happiness about their presidents' continued good health and smart leadership. They also celebrated the friendship between Ghana and Namibia and their shared dream of a united, peaceful, and wealthy Africa.
