Government officials celebrated the completion of a ZWG$14 million highway project connecting Kwekwe District with the Gokwe region. Four domestic construction firms finished the 40-kilometer roadway within eight weeks after starting work in March. Minister Owen Ncube announced the achievement during ceremonies at Zororo Shopping Centre in Zhombe last Friday. The project featured 20-millimeter asphalt surfaces, passenger stops, and proper signage meeting regional transport standards. Local contractors, including Zada Construction, Douflex Investment, Derivative Resources, and Road Trackers, executed the rehabilitation work.
