Veterans Affairs Minister Monica Mavunga outlined plans during a strategic planning session at Lake Mutirikwi to secure improved treasury allocations for statutory entitlements covering education fees, healthcare costs and burial expenses.
The ministry is developing a framework through 2030 aligned with national development objectives to address persistent challenges veterans face in accessing benefits. Mavunga indicated her department would push for increased budgetary resources while working to make veteran-owned enterprises profitable contributors to welfare programs.
