Graceland grifter Lisa Findley gets 4 years, Missouri

A federal court sentenced Missouri resident Lisa Jeanine Findley to four years and nine months imprisonment for orchestrating a complex fraud targeting Graceland. The 54-year-old defendant fabricated claims that Lisa Marie Presley secured a $3.8 million loan using Elvis Presley's mansion as collateral. Findley demanded the Presley family pay $2.85 million to prevent the property's forced sale. She created multiple false identities and forged lending documents to support her deception. The scheme collapsed when Riley Keough legally challenged the fraudulent foreclosure proceedings.

Findley published fabricated foreclosure notices in newspapers and posed as representatives from a fake lending company. Her elaborate plot threatened to auction the iconic Memphis property to external buyers. Court intervention by Elvis's granddaughter exposed the fraudulent nature of the alleged debt. After authorities uncovered the scheme, Findley attempted to shift blame to Nigerian identity theft networks. She declined to make statements during her February guilty plea hearing for mail fraud charges.
