Gwira Eshiem Hero Puts Out Transformer Blaze

A young man used a sprayer to fight flames from a transformer fire at Gwira Eshiem. Video footage shows him battling the blaze without the presence of professional firefighters. Fire service workers were not available when the electrical equipment caught fire. His quick response stopped flames from spreading to nearby structures and causing more damage. The cause of the transformer fire remains unknown.
