Kenya and Hungary Seal Education and Agriculture Deals

Kenya recently joined hands with Hungary through two agreements focused on farming and learning. Kenya Prime Minister Secretary Musalia Mudavadi explained these deals would create new teamwork between both nations. He mentioned both countries have been friends for over 60 years, with many chances to grow closer ahead.

During his meeting with Hungarian Foreign Affairs Minister Péter Szijjártó in Budapest, Mudavadi thanked Hungary for giving 200 school spots yearly to Kenyan students. These chances help people from both places connect better. The school program has brought good changes across many parts of both economies according to him.

The farm deal lets experts from both places share their best growing methods. Hungary has already built a demo farm somewhere in Kenya where crops grow well. This farm shows off Hungarian farming technology as an example of modern growing methods that last longer. Mudavadi believes these talks will bring more money from companies into Kenya, especially for businesses that add value to farm products.

Kenya plans to open an office in Budapest soon. President William Ruto agreed to this idea, and his team approved it. They just need money set aside to start the process. Both nations have stayed friends since Kenya became free in 1963. Hungary became the sixth country to open an office in Nairobi back in 1964.

Both sides talked about strengthening their energy systems. They want to focus on green growth while still ensuring everyone has enough power. They decided to follow through on an agreement about peaceful nuclear energy training they signed last year when the Hungarian minister visited Nairobi. Kenya and Hungary will share knowledge about using nuclear power as a clean energy choice.

The countries also want to improve their computer technology connections. They plan to focus mainly on business, money matters, and cloud mapping. Mudavadi said they agreed to work together through the United Nations on money for growth, making sure everyone feels included, and reaching world goals for better living. He asked Hungary to help push for fairer world systems where more people can access global funding.

For business growth, they decided to connect company owners from both places. They scheduled their next Joint Trade meeting before the end of this year. Both sides want to finish talks about protecting investments between their countries and start discussing ways to stop people from paying taxes twice when doing business across borders.

The Hungarian minister said both nations will work through international groups to bring peace to troubled areas near them. Kenya and Hungary ask anyone with problems to try talking things out instead of fighting. They believe careful discussion offers a better way to settle arguments between groups or nations.
