Kenyan speed cubers took top honors at the World Cubing Association's Kenya Legacy Twist 2025 tournament Saturday. The competition took place at Parklands in Nairobi. Eman Kabiru made history in the Megaminx category. His average time of 1 minute and 18.89 seconds set a new national record. His fastest solve of 1 minute and 11.06 seconds became the quickest time ever recorded for a Kenyan. Kabiru also won the Skewb competition. Kyle Punguh Misigo claimed victory in Pyraminx with a 5.89-second average.

Organizer Kelvin Githiari wants to expand participation in future tournaments. He hopes to attract more people to competitive cubing in Kenya. The event awarded certificates to all podium finishers across every category.
