"You develop a country by converting resources into wealth and distributing it to many people," Kindiki said at a meeting with Isiolo County leaders. He emphasized the importance of sharing prosperity across all economic levels.
The Deputy President dismissed recent criticism about President William Ruto becoming a one-term leader. "I saw some people saying their motivation is to make William Ruto a one-term President. Really? How can that be your motivation as a leader?" Kindiki asked.
His comments responded to former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua's statements from Monday. At the DAP-K headquarters launch, Gachagua announced plans to challenge Ruto's administration and prevent his re-election in 2027.
"We shall be selfless as a team. We need proper arithmetic to avoid fighting each other," Gachagua said. "This journey requires courage. With great leaders, we will create a national movement."
Kindiki highlighted Ruto's achievement as one of only five Kenyans to serve as president. He expressed confidence that regardless of future terms, Ruto's leadership would improve Kenyan lives.
